How do the phones connect?
Open CameraBuddy on both iPhones and keep Wi-Fi turned on. The phones connect directly over peer-to-peer Wi-Fi, so they do not need to be on the same Wi-Fi network and do not need internet access.
The other iPhone does not appear
- Confirm Wi-Fi is turned on for both phones.
- Keep CameraBuddy open and unlocked on both devices while connecting.
- In iOS Settings, confirm CameraBuddy has Local Network access.
- Move the phones closer together, then reopen CameraBuddy on both.
Camera or Photos access is unavailable
Open iOS Settings, select CameraBuddy, and enable Camera, Photos, and Local Network access. Camera access is required to shoot. Photos access is required to save and display captured photos.
Where are captured photos saved?
CameraBuddy saves shots to a CameraBuddy album in Apple Photos. Photos received by the remote phone are saved there as well. You can view, share, edit, or delete them through Apple Photos.
How do I restore a subscription?
Open CameraBuddy Settings and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account that originally purchased the subscription.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, select CameraBuddy, and follow Apple’s cancellation options. You can also open Apple’s subscription management page.
